Long term conditions

About 15 million people in England have a long term condition, for example diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, arthritis or hypertension. Treatment and care for people with long term conditions is estimated to take up around £7 in every £10 of total health and social care expenditure.

Library services

The Public Health and Social Care Library can provide access to library and knowledge services, including books and journal articles relating to long term conditions. We can also produce bespoke literature searches.
