Respiratory

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a major respiratory disease, which is preventable and treatable though not fully reversible. It is the fifth biggest killer disease in the UK. It is the second most common cause of emergency admission to hospital and one of the most costly inpatient conditions treated by the NHS.
