Access to pharmaceutical services, including out of hours access, is a key public health issue.  Pharmacists play an important part in promoting health and wellbeing.  They offer readily available professional advice on services that identify potential health problems (such as health screening) and support healthier lifestyles (such as stopping smoking).

Library service

The Public Health and Social Care Library can provide access to library and knowledge services, including books and journal articles relating to pharmacy and prescribing. We can also produce bespoke literature searches.
