Pharmacy

Access to pharmaceutical services, including out of hours access, is a key public health issue.  Pharmacists play an important part in promoting health and wellbeing.  They offer readily available professional advice on services that identify potential health problems (such as health screening) and support healthier lifestyles (such as stopping smoking).

The Kent Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment has been updated. Following a 60-day consultation, it was approved by the Kent Health and Wellbeing board in September 2025.
